BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.

Everything happened fast. So fast, Naruto was almost unable to realise what was going on. "Hurry up!" Yelling from doctors were heard everywhere as they rushed from one room to another. Naruto blinked his eyes a couple times. "What?!" He felt like he was going to faint any minute. Sakura looked up at him and met his eyes. "Sasuke is going to have the baby, Naruto..." She started, trying to sound as calm as possible. But for the blonde that was no use. "N- No way! T- This can't be! Already?!" He started to panic. Was this good? Isn't this too early? Or is it too late? He had no idea what he has thinking anymore.

Sakura put her hands on Naruto's shoulders and made him look at her. "Naruto! Don't do that! During this time you must be strong and steady for what's about to come, understand?" Sakura sighed. "You must stay strong." She repeated. Naruto nodded his head. He turned around and looked at the door which said room number 3. Behind that door they were taking care of Sasuke.

"Sasuke..." He whispered.

10 Minutes. 30 Minutes. One Hour. Two Hours...

Naruto was walking from one side to another. Waiting for his beloved one to come out or atleast one of the doctors to tell him how he's doing. Kakashi had already left since he had been called by Shinji's dad. They didn't really knew what he exactly wanted but Kakashi said it would be fine and he would be taking care of everything. So right now it was just him and Sakura. For the second time in just one minute Sakura sighed. "Naruto... please you're moving around too much..." She said, getting a little annoyed by the blonde. Sure he was nervous, sure she was nervous but this way it would only increase. Naruto looked at the clock and only now realised that they've been waiting for more then two hours. Naruto bit his lip.

"Aargh! I can't stand this anymore!"

He wanted to open the door and just walk in but Sakura stopped him right on time. "Are you crazy?! You can't just walk in like that! Have patience Uzumaki Naruto!" She yelled as if she was his mother. "How can I possibly wait any longer?! It's bee freaking two hours!" Sakura rolled her eyes. Of course it's been two hours. What did the blonde expect? To give birth to a baby in just a minute? "Naruto... just calm down already. You won't calm your nerves down if you keep walking around like that! So please..." She pointed to the seats. He looked around, trying to avoid Sakura's eyes and glare. "Naruto." Again, she said it like his mother would've done.

"Fine."

The moment he decided to sit down the door had suddenly opened and the silence in the hallway that was there for longer then two hours had dissapeared immediately. Sakura quickly stood up and Naruto's eyes had widened from the sudden move that was made. "Quickly! He's losing too much!" Naruto made a step backward as one of the doctors almost bumped into him because he was standing way too close. "Hurry!" At that moment Naruto's eyes met him.

"Sasuke..." His mind spoke.

"Hurry up!" His voice echoed through the room or maybe it was just Naruto's head. And darkness felt like it had over taken the entire hospital. Time had slowed down. This time time really had slowed down, almost stopping if that was even possible. Naruto blinked his eyes as he could hear his own breathing, sounding as loud as music. "Sasuke..." His mind spoke once again. Louder. Much louder. "Sasuke..."

Why? Why couldn't he move? Why was it that he felt like he had frozen? Had he... or hadn't he? Naruto could feel his fingers tinkle. They wanted to move. They wanted to move so badly. Reach out. Reach out to him. To that person that meant so much for him. To that person he never wanted to lose. To that person that was...

...dying?

Reality had snapped back in a blink of an eye. Naruto turned his head to where the doctors were heading to as he screamed out Sasuke's name. Before they disspeared from his sight... He felt tears appearing into his eyes slowly. Sakura made her way over to him. "Naruto... I am sure..."
No, he didn't want to listen to her anymore. What 'everything is going to be alright', weren't they panicking just now?! What if... what if he was really going to die... What is he really was going to leave him... Then what?!

"Sakura!"
He finally replied.

"Don't even start about me needing to calm down! You saw that just no, right?! It's not alright! It's not..." Sakura lowered her head. She put her hand on Naruto's shoulder and closed her eyes. She knew. She knew this wasn't a good thing. But...

"Excuse me, are you his friends?"

Sakura opened back her eyes before she and Naruto looked at him. "Yes. Yes we are." Sakura replied to him. She looked at Naruto who was trying to hold back his tears. "And he... is his lover." The doctor looked at Naruto before bowing a little. He smiled and it annoyed Naruto already. How could he smile in a time as this? He closed the door of the operation room and walked over to the two. He bowed once more before introducing himself as Dhr. Kimura.
He looked at Naruto again. "I would like to talk to you." Naruto nodded his head and followed the doctor while leaving Sakura behind. She sat down as she watched the two dissapear from her sight. She fold her hands together and closed her eyes. "Stay strong, both of you..."

Naruto had no idea where they actually went to, but one thing was sure. It was a place even more quiet. Naruto sat down and so did the doctor a while after. He fold his hands together and put them on his desk. He smiled again. "I will get to business immediately. I want you to don't worry about your lover. We're doing everything we can to help him so please calm down. Above that, it has happened. The child is born and is being taking care of by our nurses right now." Naruto's eyes widened. Did he hear that right? Did he really say their child...

"Would you like to see her right now?"

"H- Her?" The doctor nodded his head with a smile. "Yes, it's a girl." Naruto couldn't believe with his ears. A girl. They have a girl! They...! No. No, he shouldn't be like this. Naruto lowered his head. "I am sorry. But I would like to see her with Sasuke by my side." He answered. The doctor was silence for a moment before his smile had returned again. "I understand."

"Please take good care of her until then."

"We will, sir."

Naruto stood up and bowed before leaving. Yes, this was the right decision. He knew it... he felt it. He just didn't want to see her. It wasn't just him after all. It was them. Them, as in a family. Naruto sighed. Sasuke's image flowed through his minds as he returned back to Sakura. And before he knew it, he had already found himself in his past. To that day he had met him for the first time...
