Koimizu chapter 5.



"Sasuke, there you are! Where were you?!" Kiba asked him worried. "You know, you've missed four classes already! The teacher is really pissed at you!" Sasuke didn't reply to him, he didn't even see him standing there. Kiba followed him with his eyes but didn't say anything more to him. Sasuke sat down behind his table and burried his head inside his arms once again. Kiba blinked his eyes twice before walking over to him and sat down behind the table that was standing in front of Sasuke's. "Hey... are you okay?" Sasuke didn't look up. Kiba put his hand on his shoulder. "Sasuke? Did something happened?" Sasuke moved his shoulders a little before he looked up at Kiba and smiled.

"I am fine."

Kiba looked at Sasuke's eyes that were pretty red. Had he been crying? Kiba nodded his head and stared at the group of girls. "Did you hear it already?" Kiba tried to begin a conversation. "The reason why Makito isn't coming to school anymore is because she's pregnant." Sasuke didn't make a move. He didn't care about her nor about the other girls in his class. "Remember a couple months ago, she was acting really weird. Always throwing up and having pains in her stomach... she had them because..." Sasuke's eyes suddenly widened. He looked up at Kiba. "What?" Kiba asked him confused.

"When did she get them?"

"Hm? Throwing up and pain in her stomach? Hm... I am not sure but I think it happens about two or three months after you have sex. Why are you asking?"

The thoughts of that night returned in a blink of an eye. He heard the rain of that night, the thunder, their moans. He could feel the warmth of Naruto's body against his like it happened yesterday. He could hear the last words Naruto said to him. He could feel the pain in his chest that he felt after that... He could feel his tears...

"Sasuke?"

Reality sudden returned. Sasuke jumped up, his chair hitting the table and falling on the ground. Making a loud sound as the metal hit the floor. One of the books on his table fell. Saske's body was shaking. His eyes looked at just one point. He couldn't control his body. He was walking backwards until he nearly tripped over his own chair. "Sasuke?! What's wrong with you?!" Kiba asked worried to death. Sasuke started to shake his head. "No... No this can't be..." His mind said over and over again.

"It can't be!"

Sasuke turned around, pushed one of his classmates out of the way, opened the door with all his strength and ran away. The sound of his footsteps gone between a single second. Kiba jumped up and tried to run after him but once outside the classroom, there was no sign of him anymore. "Sasuke..."

Sasuke threw the door of his home shut and ran upstairs. Opening the drawers of his desk in a haste, nearly breaking it. Searching for that certain thing. He closed the first one and opened the second. There it was. Sasuke grabbed the small calendar that was lying in the drawer and searched for the date. That date. That date that was so important to him. That date... "Here!" Sasuke pressed his finger against it and counted. Counted from that day till now. "2 months... and..." He started to count the weeks. "...3 weeks..." He dropped the calendar on the floor.

"2 months and 3 weeks..." He replied.

He remembered the thing Kiba told him today: "I am not sure but I think it happens about two or three months after you have sex..." Sasuke looked at the calendar. At Naruto's photo that he paste on the date. "No... This can't be... No... There has to be some other reason. There has to be..." Every second made him get even more confused. "No!" He kicked the calendar away from him. "The reason why Makito isn't coming to school anymore is because she's pregnant." Kiba's words repeated in his mind. "...she's pregnant." Again. "...pregnant." And again.
