Me ga samete, Sasuke

Me ga samete, Sasuke!
(Wake up, Sasuke!)

I've based the image from the anime Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, because I thought that it would fit them really well at the moment. Besides that, I've been inspired by the latest chapters of the Naruto manga and have I put a lot of my feelings and thoughts into this.

Red String
The red string which means that you are connected to someone no matter where, or how far you are from that person and from eachother.

I used this because I am sure that Sasuke still thinks of Naruto and of course, Naruto still of Sasuke. No matter what they are doing and which path they've chosen, they're still connected. As I said, no matter how far they are apart from eachother.

And as you can see, Sasuke's 'red string' is torn at some places and is ready to break any minute. Which means that he's still connected to Naruto, still holding and thinking of him but that he is ready to break that any minute... any second...

The white line in the middle
The white line may be obvious but I still would like to point it out for you. The white line in the middle means (and it's mostly for Naruto's point of view) a sort of wall/barrier that he can't break through. He just can't take Sasuke back, he just can't take a hold of him as he always reaches out with loud voice.

Naruto yelling
Screaming his name, trying to get some sense into him again but with no succes. Here does the 'white line' play a role again. As I mentioned before, it's like a wall. A thin one or a thick one. One where no sound can go through...

And then the last one...

Sasuke's closed eyes
Sasuke's closed eyes play a big role in here. It's saying that he is aware of his own actions, he is aware of hurting people and above that also hurting himself (for example Itachi, I mean... look what he has done to him and how long he has holding onto this so called 'revenge' without even knowing the truth behind everything). But with closed eyes, he ignores everyone and everybody in his surrounding. He's going to take his own path and won't let anyone stop him...

Selfish... maybe?

Well, one thing is for sure... Sasuke should wake up and realise what he's doing...
That's why: Me ga samete... Sasuke...

EDIT: When I finished it, I was pretty proud of the drawing myself.
But now I think of it as another failure... *sigh*
